Journaling can be very powerful because it helps give words to experiences, feelings, and thoughts that we might not be able to express otherwise. It also supports you in the realization that trauma doesn’t define every aspect of your being, despite it feeling like that right now. I am calling this challenge trauma-informed as I made sure that every question took into consideration trauma and its impact. The purpose of this challenge is to encourage you to think about aspects of your life that might not be as accessible because of the trauma. My hope is that by the end of this challenge, you have not only developed greater insight but that you’ve also recognized and found parts of yourself that were hidden.
